Laura Schierburg

Thomas Pozzi

Thomas (Tom) Frank Del Pozzi passed away on June 12, 2021 at the age 72 after a valiant 2-year battle with cancer. He was born December 15, 1948 in Seattle, WA, to Melchior and Yvonne Del Pozzi. He grew up in the Seattle area with his siblings Barbara, Carolyn and David, graduating from Kent Meridian High School in 1967. He attended drafting school at Green River Community College. He has two sons, Andrew and Adam, from his first marriage to Wilma Manning. In 1985 he met Marilyn May whom he married in 2007, bringing to the marriage daughters Lisa and Laura. He worked at Boeing for many years and retired in 2010. Tom and Marilyn enjoyed visiting their kids in various states around the country, visiting national parks, and vacationing in Hawaii, Germany, and Ireland, just to name a few. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Marion Sundstrom and niece Heather Sundstrom. He is survived by his wife Marilyn, sisters Carolyn Jones and Barbara Sundstrom, brother David Del Pozzi (Twyla), sons Andrew (Joanie), Adam (Jennifer) and bonus daughters Lisa Boulanger (Ty) and Laura Schierburg (Scott), six grandchildren, one niece and two nephews. We will miss his compassion, generosity, sense of humor, laughter and love. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Prostate Cancer Foundation for research. www.pcf.org
