Thomas (Tom) Frank Del Pozzi passed away on June 12, 2021 at the age 72 after a valiant 2-year battle with cancer. He was born December 15, 1948 in Seattle, WA, to Melchior and Yvonne Del Pozzi. He grew up in the Seattle area with his siblings Barbara, Carolyn and David, graduating from Kent Meridian High School in 1967. He attended drafting school at Green River Community College. He has two sons, Andrew and Adam, from his first marriage to Wilma Manning. In 1985 he met Marilyn May whom he married in 2007, bringing to the marriage daughters Lisa and Laura. He worked at Boeing for many years and retired in 2010. Tom and Marilyn enjoyed visiting their kids in various states around the country, visiting national parks, and vacationing in Hawaii, Germany, and Ireland, just to name a few. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Marion Sundstrom and niece Heather Sundstrom. He is survived by his wife Marilyn, sisters Carolyn Jones and Barbara Sundstrom, brother David Del Pozzi (Twyla), sons Andrew (Joanie), Adam (Jennifer) and bonus daughters Lisa Boulanger (Ty) and Laura Schierburg (Scott), six grandchildren, one niece and two nephews. We will miss his compassion, generosity, sense of humor, laughter and love. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Prostate Cancer Foundation for research. www.pcf.org

Miss your smile, laugh and many walks on Soos Creek Trail and especially, Seward Park and lake walk! Beautiful! A funny time and good laugh was seeing me doing the kids zip line On with walking! I was also inspired by Glory Signing Love in Christ

I only knew Tom during my high school years. (I graduated in 1969.) We used to hang out in Wendy Jane's basement on Friday nights with the Bartholemew brothers and others to watch the late-night Friday Fright Night movies and often went to Lake Meridian before it became the park it is today. It was just a sandy beach and a floating diving dock you had to swim out too. Many vague but happy memories of those days. The sun was always shining, day or night, when we were all together.

Tom and Marilyn were such a great couple! He was truly a good man. I got to know Tom first as one of our most faithful "slide operators" at Fairwood. I remember that it was his suggestion to add the verse numbers to the slides. He and Marilyn also were signers. The picture I have isn't as good as some people might have of them, but I offer it here anyway.
