Happy Birthday Rick. I dreamt your mom made this amazing birthday cake 3 layers.. 4 layers—one was like a wedding cake; 2nd was 2nd tier, but 3rd was these super long thin 2 foot tall sparkler fireworks like candles. It was in color and the most beautiful cake I’ve seen in my life!
Sending you now my gift wrapped prayers and thoughts of all the happy memories, times and that amazing smile and laugh that is only yours!

Abby and I never met Rick and only exchanged pleasantries with Mary in the 2 years that we have been at Stage Door. The family you both created for these girls is truly amazing. I've watched my child learn to love dance and understand the connection between music, rhythm and body movement because of the influence of the teachers you have brought to our area. Thank you for all that you have done...your family is often in our thoughts and prayers.

Stage Door is truly a family. Mary and Rick made this dance studio a place where each child feels loved and inspired and every parent feels that their child is cared for. We morn Rick's loss with heavy hearts. Hopefully in time we will come to understand God's greater plan and why he was taken so suddenly.

My condolences to his Wife Mary and Family. I know My daughter and I didnt really know him.Madison just started dance in September. I just wanted to let u know how sorry iam for u and ur family!!!! Sorry we waited so long to let u know we had a death in the famili to around the same time. My grandpa passed away!!!

Miss Mary and to other family members I'm so so sorry for your loss . Rick was such a pleasure at stage door so nice,kind , and filled with joy. He tought me to be happy when I danced and to always be graceful I'm so sorry I don't go to stage door but all my teachers and friends are very important to me there . Mary I am so sorry for your loss. I was so saddened by this news. I did not see Rick alot but he was like a brother to me.You will be in my thoughts. All the crew here in Cleveland sends condolences.

In life, you dont meet many people who leave a lasting impression. Rick and Mary have continued to open their hearts to my family on issues that some would dismiss. Rick was so genuine with each hug given, making sure everything was ok. He will truly be missed.

Rick was my Father's best friend and like a second dad to me and my teammates. We are all still shocked and can't believe that this has happened. Sending all of our strength to his family and loved ones. He will be dearly missed. Ricky, thank you for all of the love and care you gave to every single person at the studio and around you in your life. We miss you.

He wasn't just a man, he was the dance dad everyone looked up to.. He was always there cheering us on at every event rain or shine. I'll never forget with he was there with Mrs Mary when I walked off stage after my solo... I hadn't won the biggest title but he said to me I was a star on stage. Ricky had the biggest heart and everyone saw that straight through! He will always be remembered, and remembered for the best... Ricky, please give Mrs Mary strength to surpass ur sudden passing give her love and comfort from wherever you are... Xoxo RIP
