Are you an energetic individual with experience in the bereavement sector interested in a sales career with an innovative technology company? The Business Development Representative will take part in a variety of initiatives that support the rapid growth of our digital memorialization solution. The role focuses on B2B lead generation, lead qualification and lead nurturing.

Working closely with sales and marketing, the Business Development Representative will be dedicated to growing Keeper’s pipeline of opportunities and implement efficient growth strategies.

Activities include:

  • Execute Market Research
  • Identify Quality Prospects
  • Support Inbound Marketing
  • Outreach (Cold Call, Email, North American Conferences)
  • Participate in Initial Client Discovery

You’re able to:

  • Generate new business via outbound cold calling, emails & research as well as qualifying inbound leads.
  • Qualify leads and secure meetings for sales.
  • Meet and exceed monthly & quarterly goals and KPIs.
  • Become an expert on Keeper’s solutions and clearly convey its value proposition and capabilities to prospects.

You have:

  • Experience working in the Bereavement and Death Care field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. (verbal and written)
  • Highly Self-Motivated and Goal Oriented.

  • Excellent relationship building and networking skills.
  • Prior inside sales experience and enterprise-level prospecting.
  • Proven track record of successfully prospecting business.
  • A dynamic personality with a high-energy level.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks

Are you passionate about death positivity, green and alternative death practice, educational outreach and writing? is looking to hire you! TalkDeath is looking to add a part-time writer, researcher, and social media manager to our team! Candidates must be familiar with the death positive community, deathcare in general, and the various online publishing tools utilized by TalkDeath. Most articles on TalkDeath require background research and sources, and so successful candidates will be proficient at both research and writing. Candidates will also have excellent English written and verbal communication skills to communicate with sources and the TalkDeath community.


  • Writing 1-2 quality articles a week
  • Daily Social Media Posting – curating content and creating original content
  • Working closely with our editor to brainstorm content ideas
  • Managing the TalkDeath website (update content, manage ads)
  • Create and manage Social Media contests
  • Design featured images and banners for website and social media
  • Answering guest post requests and social media messages and comments

Necessary Skills

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a social media manager
  • English writing proficiency
  • Research proficiency
  • Good WordPress knowledge
  • Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator experience
  • Passionate about the death positive community, green and alternative death care practices
  • General familiarity with the death profession
