Maria Anaya

Maria Carmelita Anaya was an extraordinary woman and mother who lived a bold and vibrant life. With an enveloping laugh and glimmering smile, Maria was the type of person who captured a room's attention and held it with her humor and wit. To know Maria was to know her love for her family and home; a sizzling pan of calabacitas on the stove calling "mija!" to her daughter playing in the yard. To know Maria was to know her unique style with flowers in her perfectly coiffed retro hairstyle. To know Maria was to know her passion for the arts, the theater, drawing, and a life full of creativity and imagination. To know her was to know how fully someone can radiate warmth and a passion for life. 

Maria is survived by her adoring friends, family, and daughter, Donna Rose.
