Daniel Raymond Robens, born February 11, 1952 to Fred and Virginia Robens. The youngest of four siblings, sister Rosie and brothers Jeff and Doug. Amazing father of three daughters Jessica, Natalie, and Ashley, and Grandpops to his five grandchildren Ben, Oliver, Cayden, Jaden, and Lillyanna. Known for his music and sense of humor, he loved to worship and led many services throughout the years, including children's worship music. He sang at many weddings and memorials, his voice will forever be in our memories of these special days. Always so loving and caring, helping others whenever he could. You will forever be in our hearts, we will feel you in every joke we tell, see you in every smile we evoke, hear you in every song we sing. We love you always Daniel Robens, our Father, our Grandpops, our Brother, our friend.

I have many memories of “Uncle Danny”. I am Rosemary’s daughter Robin. He used to show me where the Easter eggs were hidden, help me at checkers, make a tent to Tami and I when he babysat us. ❤️ I always admired him as a busy father of 3 girls! I loved listening to him play guitar and sing. I loved the memorial.

I don’t know why God did what he did, but He did, praise God (2x)
What did he do? He laid down His life, what more could He do for you?
We woulda been through, we’d be cookin’ in a stew and that would make me feel kind of blue. But we’ve been set free and Jesus is the key for everlasting life, don’t you see?
Those are lyrics I remember from a song Dan wrote when I was part of a short term youth choir he led at Christ Chapel. I remember the words because they were his, but they were different from many songs, simple, fun and a question for the ages—why, but praise God. I don’t know if I got the lyrics right, but they stuck with me. Gratitude, thanksgiving, praise, simplicity, mercy, redemption.
I haven’t seen him or spoke to him in years, but I prayed for him in the weeks of progress, setbacks. I rejoiced with the progress. Thank you for making it so others past and present can share. God bless you and keep you friends and family. You’re in my thoughts and prayers

I’ve known Dan since he came to Christ Capel. As we all were, I too was blessed by his music and love for God. Somehow we began messaging on fb some months back. We’d both reached out to an old friend . It was special to get to know him a bit better after many years. I listened while he told some of what he’d walked through. I was glad to be able to be an ear to a friend as he talked about so much. His love for God was unshakable, his intimate closeness with his savior. It was a blessed time. I’m so glad he made the trip to California to see his children. Gods comfort to you, your Dad was lived by many.

Remembering our good friend on his birthday and his celebration of a fulfilled life in the Lord. When I think of Dan I see him sitting in a rocker on our front porch talking with my husband Dan for hours. They were such great friends and now they share in their eternal lives together. Dan stepped in and became a father figure and close friend to my son David. The hours on the phone together and your visit to our home a few months back gave us a gift of friendship rarely found ❣️. We miss you tremendously and expect you to welcome us home when Jesus calls us to Himself

Daniel was such a special person, we looked forward to seeing him when he would visit his family. He would share pictures with us of his place in Tennesse and would love to talk about Jesus. He asked me one day if I was a believer and I will never forget his eyes lighting up when I told him I was. We were very lucky to have met him and his amazing beautiful family. We will miss him and always think of him. We share the same birthday so I will always think of him. God Bless him and his beautiful family. Love to all✝️

Wow...how do you summarize years of doing life together, serving God together, living in the House ministries together, be in each others weddings, play music together and lead worship together for years, and even though Dan and I did not do a lot of life together in the past 30 years or so, really after 95. when I moved to Atlanta...when we did get together it was as though no time had passed... ...we had plans to get together since his move to Tn....never did...one thing I regret...RIP my friend...thanks for the memories..:(

Hey Danny, I guess u ur detoured to the heaven lies and keep expecting your calls and ur coming over to the house. Ur oatmeal still awaits and we guess whenever we make chili it will bring us close to you. You are not making Vicki giggle or her shout “…it’s Rowbie!!!…” when you called. I still have the book on Vineyard history and the dual speakers u never came back for. I’m bummed ur gone. Ask for a music assignment in heaven like I will. Enjoy the place prepared there, the economy, streets and no sun but the shining glory of Father Dad to illuminate the world there. See u there or in the air. Miss you!

I've known Dan since I was 14 years old. I met him in high school, I was a freshman, he was a sophomore. When he got saved he started witnessing to me. And he never gave up.. It wasn't until I was 22 years old that I finally showed up at the church he attended, Christ Chapel, with his mom and received Christ that morning. So thankful and grateful Dan did not give up on me!!
