Ways you can honor Rudy's memory:
Me Vs Me
Jr had been training to run a half-marathon with a completion goal of sub two hours. On the morning of October 5th, 2024, Jr ran the half marathon, accomplishing his goal by crossing the finish line at 01:57:27. Tragically and unexpectedly, immediately after the run, Jr passed away.
Jr was born in 2006 in San Jose, California. In 2013, his family moved to Missouri, but it wasn’t until 2020, Jr’s 8th grade year, that his family settled in Lebanon, Missouri. Jr quickly established himself; he maintained great grades, played sports, became a dedicated gym rat.
In August 2024, Jr turned 18 and started his senior year at Lebanon High School. In September, he swore into the Marnie Corps, following his father’s footsteps. He planned to graduate High School early in December 2024, and was set to head to bootcamp in early 2025.
Jr was naturally a competitive, athletic, and outgoing person. He found happiness in seeking God, hiking in new places, reaching a new PR at the gym, and spending time with family and friends.
Whether you knew him from school, mutual friends, or the 7 Brew drive thru serving your drinks, Jr expressed genuine interest in every person he met. A heart of gold. Jr continues to be missed by so many.
