Woodrow Earl Abbott Jr

Woodrow Earl Abbott Jr. passed away peacefully at home on November 15th after a long illness. Born on Sept 1, 1959 in Logan, WV and raised in East New York in Brooklyn, "Woody" graduated from East NY Technical High School and became lineman for the NY Phone Co. Most recently he was the proud owner of Arizona Iced Tea and Simply Orange beverage routes. He will be remembered for his caring nature, quick wit and his electrical, plumbing and carpentry skills. An avid fisherman, Woody loved to go out on the Long Island Sound in his boat with his beloved fiance, Janette. Woody was adored son of the late Woodrow Earl Abbott Sr the late Shirley Vance. He leaves behind his cherished fiancé Janette Alicia Shaw, who cared for him throughout his illness, sisters Anna Manolis Ritter and Roberta Vasquez. He is predeceased by his treasured childhood dog, Duke. Woody will be missed greatly by friends and family.
