Dzi∫o ko dzudzor le!
A year ago, you took your final bow and exited the world stage never to be heard from again. Our pain is still raw; we lost your signature wit, your humour, your laughter, your friendship; but we are comforted that God called you for a better purpose. Therefore, as we mark this painful anniversary, we are reminded that “to live in the hearts of those we love is never to die.” You remain forever in our hearts! So, continue to rest peacefully in our Lord’s bosom until we meet again! Amen!

Tribute to my Friend Life long friends, Wise was indeed my class mate at O'Reilly Sec School. He was one bright student who had tennacity of purpose. He was a genuine reconciliator who always tried to resolve friends misunderstandings. Teddy Wise as he was affectionately called, had many friends in school including tutors. After we left School, we met a few times at Tema, then we lost track completely until we reconnected in Canada. We talked about the old times and things we did and perceived. We both came to Ghana in 2015 on holidays and met a couple of times at Sakumono. It was around this time that Teddy Wise indicated a desire to settle in Ghana. On my next visit to Ghana, I tried all I could to find him but couldn't. I finally received a call from one of his sisters who said, and I quote "your brother is dead." I was shocked and saddened. I lost a great friend! Hmm Teddy Wise, continue to rest peacefully.

I look back and miss your "tsilehawo;" I miss your photographic memory which recounted comic moments with such detailed precision that had us all in stitches; you demonstrated unfettered love for Peki by enunciating the 'amu' Peki words with such traditional flair; you always were kind, gave the shirt off your back for everyone... O FoDzako, we do miss you greatly! Continue to rest peacefully in the Lord! Amen!
