William (Billy) James Davis, Jr.
September 12th, 1990 - December 20th, 2020
September 12th, 1990 - December 20th, 2020
William James Davis Jr. (Billy), 30, of Chugiak, Alaska, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, December 20th, 2020.
Billy was born on September 12th, 1990 in Anchorage, Alaska to William Davis & Shannon Cox-Davis, and lived there all his life. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 2009, and was working towards becoming an Electrical Journeyman through a local IBEW apprenticeship program in Anchorage. Billy was employed at Alcan Electrical as an apprentice for the last three years and worked at Unique Machine as a machinist prior.
Billy loved to spend his time outdoors with family and friends, either riding on his four-wheeler and side-by-side, or out camping, fishing, shooting guns, and hunting for caribou or moose. In his spare time, he loved finding and cooking unique recipes, working on homemade projects, taking his dogs on hikes, and teaching his daughter how to shoot.
He was an amazing brother, uncle, and friend to many, and was known and loved for his wittiness, sarcasm, and incredibly big heart. Billy would do anything for anyone. He was extremely intelligent and caring, he had an old soul, loved playing hard, was always up for an adventure, and was always there for his friends and family.
He is survived by his sisters Tiffany Call (Alaska), Wendy Davis (Washington), Carrie Hamilton (Washington), and Dawn Inks (Alaska), four nieces, four nephews, and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents William (Bill) Davis & Shannon Cox-Davis.
A Celebration of Life will be announced later due to Covid.
Burial will be held with family privately.

I met Billy at CarQuest back... 12 years ago? He was a newbie, i showed him the warehouse ropes. We called each other 'twin' cuz we both dug the same strange music... we took our lunches together as often as we could and 'bumped' ICP in the parking lot... what a goofy dude. We kept in contact for a few years after i left, but lost it after his Antarctica stint. Too bad, cuz he was a gem. My heart hurts for u dude, and yer fam. I hope u are at peace now and are looking down at yer posse with happiness and love. Yer missed dude.

It has taken me months to write a tribute to you Billy. I couldn’t come to terms with you being gone. I love you and miss you so much. Having you as a little brother always meant and will continue to mean so much to me. You had the most amazing heart, and were always giving to those around you. You were incredibly smart and witty, and always had an opinion and were certainly never afraid to share it. I respected you, your thoughts, and opinions (even if I didn’t agree, lol) and found myself always interested to hear your take on a topic. Your laugh was contagious, and just as unique as you, and I will forever miss hearing it. We had so many things we were supposed to do together. You wanted to go to Disney with me, to country concerts on the beach, and we were supposed to go to that new casino down here in Washington, and so much more. I wish with everyone fiber in me that you were still here with us. I will forever miss you and forever love you. Love, your big sister Carrie
Jessica Higgins
My name is Jessica Higgins and I've known Billy for 9 years, I met him when we both worked at Carquest and our friendship lasted almost a decade. We created a game at the warehouse, where we'd hide in waiting for the other to pass by on our scooter/basket that all pickers had. We'd quietly go "pew, pew" with our fingers aimed at one another and RACE OFF before the other could return fire. The ENTIRE staff got in on it, it was so much fun. Years later I worked as a vendor for the metal fab shop he worked at. We'd always find time to talk, laugh, catch up, and shoot the sh*t. He even invited me as his guest to their epic Christmas party one year. Billy was such an outrageous dude. His sarcastic sense of humor always kept my edges sharp and we'd banter back and forth like we'd known eachother our whole lives. He helped me fix my cars, he helped everyone no matter how far away or how much trouble it was. He was such an outstanding guy and I feel honored he considered me a friend. I'll miss him always, but he's not gone from my life. Certain places, certain phrases, and even certain kid-like games will always remind me of him (not to mention jumping into big ole trucks). I love ya Billy, look over us while we navigate this crazy life. I know I'll see you again brother. I love you too pieces, you'll always have a place in my heart. <3
Breanna McDaniel
My name is Bre but like the others before me, he knew me as haunted on Xbox. We’ve all played with billy for a while now and he always always was the light of the party. He made it his mission to make me laugh or smile when I didn’t want to. Amazing gaming partner who became a good friend. Forever in my heart. Fly high homie xox Prayers to the family
