Dear Fred and Katrina & the whole Alert family. The memorial service was memorable and helped us get to know your dad better. I (Lydie) remember the amazing/delicious/beautiful cheese cakes & Jaime can't wait to try them in the paradise! Thank you for hosting. This undoubtedly is incredibly hard times and difficult to deal with. Death is such a wicked enemy and leaves us speechless and empty. But thanks to our loving God we understand why it is so and we know that we have an amazing hope to see 'Alert' again! This hope doesn't cancel the hurt we feel but in time might help. We are so sad for your loss. We would have love to be able to see you guys in person to give you a huge hug. We pray for you and your entire family in the meantime. Please receive our virtual hugs for now. We love you guys very much! xo
