Uncle Stopper, You made so many of us laugh. You brought so much smile to our faces. Words cannot begin to express how sad it is for you to leave us. So soar high and you will never be forgotten

This is a tribute to a wonderful and loving cousin. He was like a big brother in our family as he was older than my eldest brother. He spent plenty time at our home as my mom was his loving aunt My parents trusted him so much that the first time I attended cinema at age sixteen , he was my only chaperon. I will never forget these words " If you think you are going to meet any boyfriend, not me I am carry you straight back home, " with a serious face. If I had any intentions you know mind change one time. After I got married, he said" you know that you are kind of crazy but one good choice that you made in life was to marry Chris. If you ever leave him I am going to drag you back home". I came to realised that that man only wanted me to be home all with good intentions. He was famous for always says the right thing at the wrong time, which infuriated us,cousins. We will be in a good lime and up come Stopper with some out of timing remark or story. That man remember things from way back. Old talk and jokes were part of him. He was not easy. He supported us through good n bad times. At graduations, sickness or death we were confident that we would see Stopper. He was always a pillar of strength to us. My only regret, in his final days I could not help him. Oh Covid 19!!!!. Rest well my cousin, you have finished your work on earth. You will always be remembered for your sweet hand cooking, support and jovial personality.
