Wanda Lee Fortlage, 73, of Angel Fire passed away on June 11, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, L.C. Revell Snow and wife Ola. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Glenn A. Fortlage, children, Caren Dautremont (Mike), Jerry Scott Miller (Liz), 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and brother, Lester Snow. Public visitations were held on June 14 and June 15 2012 at Rivera Chapel located at 818 Paseo Del Pueblo Sur in Taos New Mexico. Funeral service was held on June 16, 2012 at the Church of Christ in Eagle Nest with interment following at the Angel Fire Cemetery.

DEAR Glenn and family, Though i did not know your DEAR Wanda before caring for her with Dr. Diaz there in your home, i was blessed and moved in those shared hours of her last intense suffering and hope. Now she IS healed for EVER. That is a deep comfort in this time of your own mourning so deep now continuing your life upon this earth painfully without her. God knows you tried so hard for her physical healing while still here upon earth. Now the Lord has her happiness and health in loving embrace and surest sight watching over her and yourself and family. She is surely lingering here with us, but NOW in radiant eternal health. it is wonderful that we now have a cemetery here in Angel Fire to visit and pray with her. i will never forget her beautiful blue eyes staring so sincerely: poignantly and lovingly into mine with kisses and care during those last days and the scent of holy lavender upon her soul.
