Hey man, last time we saw each other was 2017 and we had lost touch years before that. But I'll never forget the AYSO days, the crew going year after year from the Purple Pulverizers to the Silver Phantoms. Your smile was infectious and your determination was inspirational. Thank you for those amazing memories and the lasting impact that they've had. May you rest in peace.

Thank you so much for over a decade of friendship. I always felt honored you wanted to keep in touch over the years, especially as I was constantly far, far away from the Bay. Being your friend reminded me of the goodness out in the world--as well as how much of the world there is to explore! I'm so grateful for the time we had, and can't wait for the next time we get to catch up. Love you deeply. I trust there's ample nature to explore in Heaven.

Vik, I still remember when I first met you. You and Henry, both ten year olds, were just starting with BSA Troop 407 in Cupertino. I remember you as a very gentle young man, always smiling. I remember you as a natural leader. You advanced rapidly through the ranks of Boy Scouts, while I had the privilege of serving on the review board for several of your promotions. And of course, this all led to your becoming a Senior Patrol Leader at an early age, and an Eagle Scout quite early as well. I remember the many trips I went with the Troop where you were the Camp Master, responsible for managing the entire trip - from planning, logistics, all the way to completion. I particularly remember our 50 miler hike in 2009, which you, still just a teenager at the time, planned and led for the entire group of 6 boys and 4 adults. Not only that, when I badly needed mosquito repellant, you were the one I turned to to borrow some. I also remember you as a very mature and respectful young man. When we had the privilege of having you in our house over the years, you always brought us joy and I truly enjoyed our conversations. Vik, you will always be remembered and missed.

Vik, even though we only had brief encounters in high school, I could easily tell you were kind, respectful, and incredibly positive. I will always remember how you've made the lives of those around you better. May you rest in peace.

Dear Vik, It was an honor to be your Assistant Scout Master in Troop 407. Watching you learn and grow up to do all those adventures you so loved to do. I first met you when Alex joined the troop and I could already see how great a leader you were becoming. I noticed how you enjoyed the outdoors so much, especially on all of the troop outings. I even recall when, after graduation, you and Henry came back to the troop to ask to borrow some troop equipment for an outing you guys were planning with your friends. Your sudden departure definitely leaves a void in all of our lives and you will surely be missed. Rest in peace, Daniel Lee
