Tony Conte III
March 6th, 1987 - November 17th, 2019
March 6th, 1987 - November 17th, 2019
Tony "Dude" Conte, was born on March 6, 1987 to parents Tony Conte and Mary McCreery, and was the youngest of three siblings. He was born in Manteca, California and after graduating from Escalon High School he went on to enroll in Cogswell Polytechnical College. They say that friends are the family you get to choose, and it was at college he met a group of friends that would become his second family in Los Angeles. Tony was an artist to all who knew him, and from the moment he could pick up a crayon, a pen, a pencil- he was always drawing. During college he developed a passion for film and he was driven to succeed as an editor. He couch surfed his way to success until he had worked his way to a place of his own. For the past decade, Tony has made a name for himself amongst his colleagues and the various companies he worked for, securing his place in the Motion Picture Editors Guild in 2016. He has worked on projects such as "Busy Tonight", "Chelsea", and "The Grace Helbig Show". Tony had undeniable ethic, was passionate about his work, and was always more than willing to do whatever it took to get the job done, even taking on duties that didn't necessarily fit his job description. Tony was a kindhearted, loyal, imaginative, and determined young man. He loved his friends and family fiercely, and loved to travel the globe. He saw the world, lived his dreams, and persevered through all odds. His 11-year fight with cancer only proved his perseverance and determination. He was the bravest man you'll ever meet and the sweetest soul you could ever have in your corner. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. Tony passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his mother, Mary Bandoni, and stepfather, Robert Bandoni; his father Tony Conte, and stepmother Cindy Conte; sisters Alisa Conte and Stephanie Conte, as well as countless honorary brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Joyce Conte; and stepbrother Jacob Gaines.
