Dear Bruce and Sharon, my memories of Tim at BHS make me smile. He did his best to find his way through and a few times I’d find him in my office in a jam that would eventually make us both laugh! Once when I was ordering something at Cooks and saw Tim cooking away, we shouted out some memories and laughed. He was a joyful, kind young man, always with a smile. I am heartbroken that his life ended so young but I know he made life better to many while he was here.

I can always remember Tim being there to help Mom and I get to and from one of our trips. He was always willing to help and with a smile on his face. Trying to get all our luggage into one small space was always a challenge but he did it without a complaint. Sharon and Bruce I can't even imagine what it is like to loose a child so young but I hope you will always have fond memories that will brighten each of your days. The other day as I was riding through Tall Timbers I too had fond memories of Tim and I rode through remembering his smile and love of the place. He had great taste..... :-)

Tim was a member of the first class I taught at Barnstable High School. He was a memorable young man, quite spirited at times, but truly a good kid! He loved our class celebrations and field trips (including a memorable one to Fenway Park!). School was not his favorite place but he persevered, with the support of his parents, until he graduated. We kept in touch over the years, both in person and via updates through his mom. Tim stopped by my office to say "hi" periodically and always shared a fun memory of those days and the latest gossip about his former classmates! On my last day of work before I retired, Tim stopped in with cookies to celebrate! This thoughtful gesture was a perfect example of Tim's kind character. I will always remember him with a smile.

Our fondest memory of Tim was how he and Patrick helped to shovel out our driveway during the winter of 2004-05. Dylan was a baby so it was hard for us to get out to shovel and that winter was especially snowy! One day, they even knocked on our door to ask if we needed anything - diapers, formula, whatever - from 7-11 because they were going. Tim and Patrick's kindness showed us that we had picked the right neighborhood to move to. We miss his friendly smile.

Tony and I love Sharon and are only familiar with Bruce through our conversations with her; however, it was always evident how much they loved their sons. We firmly believe that there is no greater sorrow than to outlive a child. It's unimaginable the pain and sorrow that consume Bruce and Sharon. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. There is a small comfort in knowing Tim is at peace and a forever angel on their shoulders.
