Timothy Hock
August 5th, 1957 - April 17th, 2022
August 5th, 1957 - April 17th, 2022
Timothy M. Hock age 64, passed away on Sunday, April 17,2022 at his home, with his family under the care of Hospice. He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Gail (Hamm) Hock, their children Nathan and wife Kirstin Hock of Syracuse NY and daughter Terri and husband Aaron Ackerman of Bethlehem PA; 4 grandchildren, Kaelan, Ian, Makenzie Hock and Jude Ackerman; brother Raymond and wife Becky Hock, and Douglas Hock.
Timothy was born August 5, 1957; he was the first born son of the late Gerald and Delphine (Kern) Hock.
Timothy was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on November 13, 1971. Before his illness, he stayed very busy in the congregation. He helped and touched the lives of many. Timothy will be remembered for his kind, gentle and loving manner when dealing with others.
Timothy was a valued employee at his place of work, Protect Alarms, for the past 47 years. Even through his illness, Tim was a fixture at work and could be counted on to help in whatever way he was able.
Timothy was dearly loved by his whole family. His grandchildren remember him as being their hero, always ready to be there to help fix any problem they may have had. He was affectionately called Papa by his grandchildren. Even through his illness Papa would spend time with his grandchildren watching movies, playing games, introducing them to new songs and books and playing with the Yo-yo.
Most of all Timothy will be missed for how much he loved his family. Timothy was a man of few words but the words he spoke and wrote were powerful and full of meaning, and the words he didn't speak he always showed in many different ways.

To Gail & Family: Tim was without question one of a kind. A great family man. To me Tim was far more than an employee. He was a dedicated man who truly went above and beyond anything I could have anticipated when we hired him 46 years ago at the ripe old age of 19. He rose quickly through the ranks of Protect Alarms starting as a service tech and finishing his career as Director of Technical Services. Everything Tim did was to make the company better. When we were part of Dictograph he won the Guardian of the Year, a national award, which is given to someone who shows an extraordinary contribution in their field. During Tim's final days he once again showed his dedication. While in obvious pain and in hospice, he took the time to make video recordings of many of his daily tasks to help coworkers learn their new responsibilities. Tim, rest in peace my friend, you earned it. You will never be forgotten and you will live on in our hearts forever.

Dear Terri, Aaron, Jude, Gail & family, We're at a loss for words. We know how much Tim meant to each of you & how difficult & painful of a time this has been. How we look forward to when Jehovah will "wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore" (Reve 21:3-4) and we can welcome him back in the resurrection! Until then, we continue praying for Jehovah to comfort & strengthen your family & that our resurrection hope helps you to endure this precious loss. We love you, Sarah & Matthew

What a lovely memorial service, listening to the beautiful love story of Tim and Gail was so beautiful. Until we see him again, may Jehovah continue to give you strength and comfort "the God who comforts us in all our trials" 2 Cor. 1:3,4. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Much love

My dear precious friends, When I think of Tim, I see his quiet smile. What a dear man. I read Psalm 63:3 today and thought of you guys. It says “Because your loyal love is better than life”. Jehovah’s loyal love will move him to bring Tim back to something better than we can imagine. But now it hurts and we who love you are hurting with you. But please find comfort in Jehovah, the hope we have and the love your friends have for you.
