April 23rd, 1984 - May 25th, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Ted Dolan, a truly wonderful soul who brightened the lives of everyone he met. Born on April 23, 1984, in St. Louis, Missouri, Ted left us far too soon on May 25, 2026, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Ted was not just a husband to Kimmy; he was a companion, confidant, and partner in every adventure they undertook. Together, they navigated life with love and laughter, creating a home filled with warmth and joy. Their beloved pet, Millie, was always by their side, adding to the merriment of their lives.
Known for his kind eyes and infectious smile, Ted had an uncanny ability to make anyone feel at ease. He was hilarious and never missed an opportunity to share a joke or a funny story, leaving a trail of laughter wherever he went. Ted’s traits of generosity and loyalty were evident in everything he did; he was always there for his friends and loved ones, offering a helping hand or a listening ear.
His interests were as vibrant as his personality. Ted loved traveling to new places, volunteering to support causes close to his heart, and spending time with his beloved Kimmy. Whether it was enjoying quiet moments at home or venturing out for an exciting day, Ted approached life with a curiosity and energy that was unmatched.
While we reflect on the many memories we shared with Ted, we are reminded of his unwavering spirit and the joy he brought into our lives. Ted's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, encouraging us to embrace life, laugh often, and lend a hand to others in need.
In honor of Ted’s generous spirit, we invite those who knew him to remember the good times and carry forward his commitment to kindness and laughter in their own lives. He will be dearly missed, but his light will continue to shine brightly in our memories.
We encourage you to share photos or stories of Ted in the Tributes section below.

Ted was such a wonderful friend to me. I Met him when I first moved from Ohio to Colorado. He opened my Well Fargo account for me and then I learned that we both lived at the apartments across the street from the bank and shared some mutual friends in the area. It seemed like we were destined to be friends. I remember his kindness so clearly— he used to meet me outside to help me carry my groceries up to my apartment, pet sit my cat for weeks at a time, and was always up for a conversation. His friendship was such a beacon of light during my move to Colorado. I will forever be grateful for his friendship and kindness. Keeley Buehler Hunter

What is your earliest memory of Ted?
Ted and I worked together at Wells Fargo, Commercial Wholesale in Denver, CO. As a team there we all shared so many great, in the office moments, volunteer opportunities and after the clock is over memories. He was always willing to help when I needed an answer to a question with either documentation or booking. Ted would go above and beyond to find an answer by either going to someone on our floor or going to the firth floor (another department of ours) to go and ask someone who he knew would help! He would stick around and listen to the answer to also familiar himself with that process or question I had and he would reiterate and ask me if that made sense. He was a genuine coworker and friend. Also one of my funniest memories of Ted was when our department would have a office flip flop coupon (you can wear flip flops to work starting in spring until summer which proceeds would go to a charity) he was the first one to buy the coupon and would start wearing flip flops to the office in spring in Colorado which if you lived there, spring time in CO doesn’t always mean warm weather! Ted also took great pride in his pedicured feet while this “office flip flop event” would happened. ;^) You will be missed my friend, I was lucky to have met you to then meet the laid back, fun, always had something going on, bartender at the Retro Room; your beloved Kimmy! The good old fun in our 20’s memories of you, the Wells Fargo team/s and Kimmy I will cherish and may you still be able to live and see the world through those who loved you dearly Ted. See you later old friend. -Tati

Kimmy has always occupied a place in our hearts; she’s a great friend to our daughter Lauren, acting as the Maid of Honor at her wedding. Ted fit right in. Quick with a smile and a compliment, his sense of humor endeared him to all who were fortunate to have spent time with him. And he loved Kimmy like no other. Godspeed, Ted! We’re sure going to miss you. Chuck & Sandy Kellogg

Kimmy, I didn’t have the chance to meet Ted, but I want to share something that stayed with me from the day I met you at Amy’s house when we went to the Early Birds event. I still remember clearly how you talked about him while we were eating that slice of pizza after the event. I wish I had a camera in that moment, because when you started talking about him and how you met, your face just lit up with pure happiness just from speaking about Teddy. In that short moment, I could really see how much he meant to you, and how he must have been such a wonderful person, because of how happy and in love you looked when you talked about him. Sending you a big hug from my heart. Mayela Magur

Ted was a gem! Our interactions with him were always enjoyable. He was so charming and kind - thoughtful and funny. We knew Kimmy was in good hands when she and Ted decided to marry. She had one proud Papa! While we are so sorry he is gone we are so grateful to have known him and his love for Kimmy. God speed, Ted.
