How did you meet Tabitha?

Tabitha joined our small group in Garhoud around 2018 or 2019. We got to know her gradually over the years: eating meals, sharing life, listening to her jokes, studying bible passages, worshipping God together. She would tell us about Simba, her friends and what she did with the other groups that she was in, such as cycling, ping pong and hiking. Some of these friends we finally met at Tabby's Celebration of Life in Dubai. Tabby also served as a teacher in Fellowship Children Church at Two Seasons. She was gentle, committed and faithful. She loved the children and the rest of the volunteers. Tabby eventually decided to pursue further study and career in early childhood teaching. Tabby also volunteered as a teacher for TECD Awana kids in Feb 2024. I remember her driving us to Hatta, we spent the day at the camp. On the way back to Dubai, Tabby accidentally drove to Oman border. We laughed about this incident so much. I would treasure the memories of tabby, she was our daughter, she was a friend, she was family. She was a wise teacher and sister sometimes. Tabby was there for me when I went through a very painful and challenging period. She was loyal, loving and caring. She would be honest in giving her opinion and advice. She would reach out and we would pray together. She would listen to my lament patiently. She would encourage me when I was down or in fear. There will always be a place for Tabby in our hearts. Her essence was pure love. She would shine wherever she was. She gave herself to light up others' lives. Untill we see you again in Heaven, Tabby. Forever in our hearts, John and Courtney

My Tribute to My Lovely Sister Tabby Thursday 11th July 2024, the world lost a brilliant light, and my heart lost a precious piece of itself. My dear sister Tabby, words cannot fully capture the depth of my love for you or the magnitude of your impact on my life and that of my family:- Mellon, Joe, Joelle, Jewel and Jasiri. From our earliest days, you were a constant companion, my confidant, and my kids best friend. Your laughter was infectious, filling our home with joy and warmth. You had an uncanny ability to find beauty in the simplest of moments, and your zest for life was truly inspiring. Tabby, you were a beacon of kindness and compassion. Your generous spirit touched everyone you met, and you had a remarkable way of making people feel seen and valued. Your empathy knew no bounds, and you always put others before yourself, offering a listening ear, a comforting hug, or a shoulder to cry on. You faced life’s challenges with courage and grace, never letting adversity dim your spirit. Your resilience was awe-inspiring, and you taught my family and i the importance of perseverance and hope. In moments of doubt, you were my anchor, reminding me of my strength and encouraging me to keep going. That Thursday you left us, I was overwhelmed with a mix of sorrow and gratitude. Sorrow for the void your absence leaves in my life, and gratitude for the countless beautiful memories we created together. Every shared laugh, every heart-to-heart conversation, and every moment of sibling camaraderie is etched in my heart forever. Tabby, you were more than a sister to me; you were my kids guiding star. Your legacy of love and kindness will continue to shine brightly, touching the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know you. Though you are no longer with us in person, your spirit lives on in the hearts of those you loved. I promise to carry forward the lessons you taught me and to honor your memory by living a life filled with love, compassion, and joy. Your light will never fade, and your presence will always be felt in the warmth of the sun, the beauty of the stars, and the whisper of the wind. Rest in peace, my lovely sister Tabby. You are forever cherished, forever missed, and forever loved. Big Bro Joram
