Sydney Cox

Born in Chicago, IL, we always knew Sydney would be destined for greatness. Anything she put her mind to, she didn't just do it, she excelled in it. From childhood she always wanted to "be a doctor" when she grew up. She went to highschool and graduated with her LPN, and later completed college to become just that, Sydney L. Cox M.D. The only time Sydney excelled beyond that was when she gave birth to Iris. She always wanted to be a mom, or at least she was the mom to anyone around her. We're sure Iris will never forget the times she's had with her. Iris always came first and I'm sure even in death she's watching over her daughter proud of what she created. Sydney passed from Covid-complications. She died doing what she loved doing the most: taking care of others. Even when she didn't want to, she made sure everyone was alright. We will miss her more than ever. An amazing mother, a fantastic friend, and exceptional doctor. Rest easy sweet angel, you've done well.
