Cindy Spilker Villafuerte Oh sweet Suzanne...how we dearly miss you at the yoga studio. You made an everlasting indent on our hearts. The studio has absolutely not been the same since Saturday, nor will it ever be the same without you. Each day, between 8:30-8:45 am you would come through the doors to get your temperature checked at the front desk, say good morning, check in on how we were doing and, some days, delve into spiritual matters. You truly were an old soul, whether it was your outlook on life, how you handled situations or your artwork. Yes, your artwork! You attended Parsons in NYC and were an absolutely brilliant artist. I always looked forward to checking out what colorful leggings, scarves or face masks you'd be wearing each day. Some of our yoga teachers wore your leggings to the yoga studio and each was so individualistic, like you! Your yoga mat, which you designed, is holding space this week in the spot you sat each day since coming to our studio. The mat is set up with your photo, flowers from Lisa and candles. You were incredibly PROUD of your son Adam, which showed in our conversations. You did good, momma! Suzanne, when I saw you on Friday, you were very happy and were completely at peace with yourself and the world. Not many can say that right now. I am proud to call you a friend. Thank you for touching upon my heart. Love, Cin Like · Reply · 1m Facebook Comments Plugin

Suzanne lived her yoga life with passion. She was devout to her practice and exuded positivity and kindness to me always. We spent hours talking about art, travels, Asian culture and yoga and mostly laughing. She had a wit and sense of humor that never failed to elevate the conversation. The memory of her beaming smile and joy will be a blessing to me always. I will miss her terribly. RIP my beautiful soul and friend.
