I was a new member in the ward and Susan lived on our street. She might have sensed that I felt very out of place in a family ward as one of you not 3 newlywed couples in the ward. In her own way, she made me feel at home. I loved serving together in the young women presidency, I learned a lot from her and the other women in that ward. She persevered despite life’s challenges, she taught powerful lessons, and she smiled through it all. We love you Susan. Thank you for making a lifelong impression on me and who I am becoming.

I only just met Susan when she came to visit Amber in Oklahoma. I was lucky enough to spend an entire day with her and Amber and share one of my favorite places and drives. We talked a lot and I assured her that Amber was in great hands in Oklahoma and not to worry too much

Susan was the best message therapist I ever had. She had a wonderful therapeutic touch. But she was an even better friend. I enjoyed our conversations every 2 weeks as we shared with each other our latest happenings. I loved hearing about her kid, grandkids and the fun things she had done. I too will miss her very much. I pray the comforter will be with each of you. You are her greatest joy and legacy,

Susan was an amazing woman, friend, boss, massage therapist, esthetician, and so many other things. I had the privilege to work for her for about 2 years in her spa. She was the kindest boss. So loving, understanding, patient, grateful, and happy. She made working enjoyable and even sparked my passion to pursue esthetics. Recently, I had the pleasure to assist her in services at the spa which was so fun to work with her again. She was always working to improve the spa. She was so hard working and motivated. She was so creative and caring to all her clients. Had such a bright and peaceful way about her, very welcoming and she instantly got close to all who came to her. She genuinely cared about everyone and always looked for ways to help them anyway she could. I am so grateful to have known susan. She impacted my life in many ways and she will always be remembered with great love and admiration.

Although I haven’t seen Susan in many years, her memory is a bright spot in my life. Susan and here beautiful family were our neighbors in Glendale. She influenced my life in ways that I’m not sure I ever mentioned to her and I regret that now. She taught me what it was to be a mother, a friend and a neighbor. The lessons I learned from simply watching her live her life, shaped the woman that I am today. I think about her often as I model the examples that she set for me. Her legacy will live forever as all of the lives that she touched and shaped, go on to shape others. God bless you all, children. I know how much you miss her. My heart breaks for all of you, but be comforted that 10,000 years into eternity this brief moment that you were separated will feel like a blink of the eye. You won’t recognize my name because I’ve remarried as well. This is Debbie. Danny, Johnny, Beth, Lisa and Tabitha’s Mom. My mother, waits for me now in heaven. And although it’s slightly embarrassing I just want you to know that I talk to her every day, it’s very comforting. You’ll miss her when bad things happen and she isn’t there to comfort you and you’ll miss her when wonderful things happen and she isn’t there to share them and be proud of you but know that she will always be proud of you and that she lives on forever, in you. Be strong in your faith and imagine the beautiful reunion that you will share with her.

Susan was always happy to see me even if it was once a month or once every 6 months. She truly was the best massage therapist I have ever had. She would talk about her children and grandchildren with so much love and loved the times you were all together! She will always be close by watching over you all! I am so shocked about her passing am so deeply sad for your loss. My prayers are with your family
