Susan Patricia Payton

Suzy was a strong, beautiful, & kind mother and friend. She was deeply loved by all, & her affection for everyone was great. Her loving spirit, her contagious laugh, and her carefree approach to all things in life made her such an amazing & lively woman. She always had a shoulder, an ear, or a heart for anyone in need. Her love knew no bounds. Mama Dukes is survived by her children, Jack Payton, Amber Rivera and her fiance Prince Barrow, & Sean Kiermaier. She also leaves behind many extraordinary friendships. Special thanks go to Penni & Kim, Arlene, and the rest of her postal family in Lehigh Acres, Chris, Brandy, Edna & Jackie, and the many others she's come to know through the years. Your endless love gave her so much happiness and strength. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Payton, her son Charles "Joey" Payton, & her parents, Jack & Lottie Schaefer. A local celebration of life will be held at her home in Catlettsburg, KY on November 19, 2021 at 6pm. There will be another celebration for her in Florida, in the spring of 2022, with further details to come.
