STUART E. WILLIAMS, age 62, noble and beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, stepfather and stepgrandfather entered eternal rest peacefully on Friday, September 2, 2022, holding hands with his wife, listening to his favorite Jimmy Buffet music.
Stu is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Cecelia Williams, his sisters, Margaret Blomberg and Virginia Williams Barrett, his nephews and niece, Austin Williams, Brea Segura and Max Blomberg, his stepchildren, Christina Choy and James Ritter and his step grandchildren, Oliver Choy, Edwin Choy, Mason Ritter and Nova Ritter. He is predeceased by his parents, Stuart L. Williams and Florence Williams.
Stu brought bold and vibrant life to his family and community and gave selflessly to others throughout his life, whether it was for family, friends or someone in need. With honors, Stu completed his Building Construction and Architectural Design & Construction Technology degrees at St Petersburg College. He was the founder and president of Design & Construct Inc., prior to becoming project manager at Case Atlantic and Keller N.A., North America's leading geotechnical specialist contractor, for nearly 30 years. He had a passion for aviation, including extensive and innovative flight design simulations, builds, re-builds and paints. He was a PADI Open Water Diver and loved experiencing the coral reefs of the Hawaiian Islands and Florida Keys. Stu traveled the globe for his love of theater and mysteries, particularly based in the early 20th century. His favorites were Phantom of the Opera, Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot and anything Sherlock Holmes.
Stu’s heroic last testament of compassion and generosity was his gift of life donation so others may live. He will be remembered for the life he lived and the life he gave.
Per Stu’s wishes, his ashes will be released to the ocean, privately, by the hand of his wife, the love of his life.
Should friends desire an expression of sympathy, a suggested memorial contribution to one of Stu’s favorite organizations is included below.

Stu ... all of us who were Case Atlantic and now Keller are honored and privileged to have worn the same shirt as you and fought the good fight alongside you all these many years ... we miss you terribly! Cecilia I remember when Stu met you ... he came walking into the office on air ... you brought so much joy and light into Stu's life ... I know we all wish it could have lasted forever ... on behalf of us all and as Steve Lehman says below "till we meet again one day my friend"
