On the 24th of Febuary, Steven Griffey answered the Lord's call to join him in Heaven. Steve was reunited with his father Hasel, his mother Faye, and brother Richard. Steve's memory lives on through his wife Tammy, his brother, Michael, his daughter Jessica, his sons Justin, Zachary, and Nathaniel. Steve cherished his grandchildren Kyleigh, Scarlett, Elliott, and Stevie. Steve was a hardworking family man and had a successful career at Newport News Shipbuilding, and would have carried the title of Master Shipbuilder in June. Outside of work and being a dedicated family man he was passionate about baseball, cutting grass, OBX trips, camping, and riding his motorcycle. Steve was a God loving man and will always be with us in our hearts. Steve's celebration of life will be on the 12th of March at Southside Vinyard Community Church 13390 Great Springs Rd, Smithfield, VA 23430 at 2pm.
