    It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stanely "Tompus" Wilson, who left this world on January 8, 2026, at the age of 91, in Kingston, Jamaica. Born on March 5, 1934, in the Galloway District of Westmoreland Parish, Stanely touched the lives of many with his kind and generous spirit. Stanely is remembered fondly by his loving family, including his cousins Louise, Joyce, Estella, Frank and Bertram. His cherished caretaker, Althea, tended to him with deep love and devotion for the later years of his life. Tompus was known for his considerate nature, always ready to lend a hand to his cousins when they were younger. His nurturing spirit and unwavering support shaped the lives of those around him, leaving a legacy of love and compassion.

    He derived deep happiness from attending the Pentecostal Gospel Showers Church, where his faith brought him peace and purpose. He found joy in simple pleasures, such as listening to the radio and attending church, activities that enriched his life and brought him peace.

     A solemn farewell service will be held to honor Stanely's memory at the House of Tranquility Funeral Home located at 172 Orange Street, Kingston, Jamaica. Family and friends are invited to express their condolences and celebrate his life on February 19, 2026.

     In this time of grief, we remember Stanely as a beacon of kindness and generosity, whose spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
