There's so many great memories of my dear Aunt Sheila. We used to laugh about her southern drawl when she first moved to a Boston. She eventually gave me my family nickname "Sweety" because of my (and every kid's!) love of sweets. She once drove me all the way to Logan airport just to see a Boeing 767, a plane that I eventually flew!!! She was the life of every cookout and family gathering, lighting up everything with her smile that was as pretty as her father's: big with lots of beautiful white teeth!!! This one definitely hurts more because of the health emergency we are dealing with and our subsequent inability to immediately celebrate her life. My Aunt Sheila is gone but never forgotten!! She was a fighter the whole way through. She's already sorely missed. All our love forever Aunt Sheila. God bless!!!!

So many memories of Cut'in "Shay-La". Makes me think of her requests for Uncle Joe's Fuzzies, Blues Burgers, KK's, and the always friendly and LOUD discussions during the family gatherings. Remembering when she and infant Ashley visited Texas and Sandra substituted in for Shelia at feeding time (the old school way). I will certainly miss her but I am grateful for having spent time in her presence. She has her reward now and although we all want to stay for as long as we can (as she did), there is no greater reward than to be in the presence of the Almighty. Rest in peace Cuz. We will always love you, Cousin Glover

For more than 36 years you have been my sister and my friend. We have shared so many jokes and laughs from crazy pregnancies to crazy "grown folks stuff!" Every time we talked, we laughed. You brightened my world..RIH Bae❤...

It doesn't feel real that Cousin Shelia is gone. Every battle she had to fight, she managed to overcome. Somewhere in my mind I thought this was one of those battles. My heart was saddened after hearing she was gone. I had to find peace in knowing that her transitioning relieved her of pain and suffering. I have so many memories of us growing up together, sharing lots of fun and laughter. I remember my visits to her house when she would say: "Cuz, come on and put a touch on my hair". Somehow, I would manage to give her and Auntie Neat a new "Hair DO" and a few sewing tips. After requesting some of my skills and knowledge, she would tell me that I was "OLD". We enjoyed eating Blues burgers, KKs and talking about old times. As time passed, we started to have children and she took the lead. I would never let her forget that she won the race after having four children to my two. We had lots of fun with that. We were blessed that our children grew up sharing many holidays together with everyone in Boston. The Fish Frys, her cakes, and a few of Uncle Joe's fuzzies could keep the gathering at a very high point. Those are times and memories I will always cherish. Shelia, I will miss you and I thank God for you being a part of my life. Rest in peace, you are now in a place of greater reward.

Rest in paradise cous! Always will cherish the fish fry's at your house and how you kept everyone laughing. Can't forget you and my Mom always going to get KK's and eating them before coming back lol. You've gained your peace and wings. We will see you when we get there. Love you
