Loved Ones

Sharon Ann Vinay lived and loved unapologetically to the beat of her own soul's rythym and encouraged everyone who knew her to live life by their own truth as well, all while offering a safe and warm seat next her fire like glow to rest and be themselves in her presence. Just like a campfire, she could be fierce yet gentle. She knew more than she let on, and was the true wild woman we should all aspire to be. Sharon looked fear in the face and smiled, she was a medicine woman, compassionate, creative, inspirational, and free. Sharon danced through life, and now between worlds, with the warriors confidence of an ancestral army behind her. Whatever she set her mind to, she accomplished and wanted nothing but the best for those she loves. She understood that what the world needed was more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, lovers of all kinds, and she strived until the day she transitioned to embody what that looks like. Her beauty transcended the ugly nature of disease, her light shown bright through to the moment she needed to take it with her, and the inspiration she leaves behind to all she touched is her legacy. In her own right she is still in many ways a blessing that stood alone leaving memories that prove to be the only treasures in this life that truly matter in the end. Her accolades include Author, A degree in Natural Health, Wife, and most cherished according to her, a Mother. She is survived by her Best Friends, Husband, Children, and the last of a managerie of wayward cats. Her family will host a socially distanced service within the coming months. In lieu of flowers, Sharon asks that her friends treat themselves in a way that they will remember her the most and can celebrate her in the way that she uniquely spoke to them.

Sharon - a beautiful woman and a beautiful friend. I will always cherish my memories of the times we spent together. I remember how she LOVED nature. Often we would find ourselves walking along a shoreline or among trees, enjoying the beauty of this world whom our loving "God of the Universe" (her term, which I loved, and will always remember) provided for us. We would walk, and talk, and laugh, and just enjoy our time together. I miss you my sister/friend.
