I didn't know Sharon well personally but I had the good fortune of working with her at SCDCSS. She had such a lovely, positive demeanor and always found the good, or possible, in every situation. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Sharon was my neighbor when she lived in Mount Vernon, WA and we became very good friends and we kept contact with each other thru the years. Did not know that she passed until I searched the web for her and found this article. Would appreciate it if a family member would contact me. Patty Hanson, 360-399-1994.

Grandma, You taught me that a little makeup goes a long way and too much can hide try beauty. Throughout your hardships in life you always looked at the silver lining in every situation. I’m grateful that I have pictures and our past conversations to look back on when my heart gets lonely. As one of your many grandchildren..I wanted to share that you showed us how to have fun wherever we were and you would take us camping, fishing and amusement parks but my personal favorite was going to your house and swimming. You would teach us table manners and dinner prayers. When you worked for AVON I would just watch you sort your orders and you would allow me to help you after pestering you. I loved waking up to you with your curlers in your hair and I will never forget the way you would over use your hairspray. Being one of six kids you really made me feel special and heard when I would visit and I will always appreciate your patience with me. You see I had a horrible stutter and it would take a minute to get out what I wanted to say. My grandma taught me “turtle talk” (learning to talk slower) and bought me the movie Paulie. I miss you and thank you for being a adult that we all could count on. Your great granddaughter will know what kind of woman you were and a guardian angel she gained. Hold my daughter in heaven close and teach her how to dance for me. I love you so much. Sleep with the angels.
