Shanda Marie Crane, 50, went home to Jesus on October 24, 2021. She passed peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends after a sudden and brief illness. Born in Indianapolis, IN on August 18, 1971 to Clarence and Donna Crane, Shanda grew up in Westfield, IN, where she attended Westfield Washington High School. She graduated from Butler University, Indianapolis, IN with a Bachelors degree in Radio and Television before relocating to Phoenix, AZ in 1998. Shanda worked for Channel 3 TV, The Family Station, as Traffic Coordinator for the last 21 years. Shanda was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend who was funny, outgoing, and vivacious, but she was also introverted and introspective. She had a smile that would light up any room, a caring personality and held an unwavering faith in God. We are all devastated by this sudden loss, Shanda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She enjoyed baking, knitting, sewing, reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Crane. She is survived by her mother, Donna Crane; siblings, Doug Crane, Don (Dena) Crane, Lori Crane, and Shelley Crane; an uncle; and numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service celebrating Shanda's life will be held on December 4, 2021 at 1pm. Please refer to the Events tab for more information.

I remember Shanda as the youngest sister, the baby of the Crane Clan, with a sinister grin and twinkle in her eye that always made you wonder what she was up to? The Cranes were our neighbors and first friends when we moved into Village Farms and will forever be family in our hearts. We are deeply sorry for your loss. God bless the family and RIP Shanda. Love Kecia and shelva
