Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call; I turned by back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work and play. Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void. Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared a laugh, a kiss; Ah yes, these things, I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savored much; Good friends, good time, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seems all too brief; Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and hare with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.
Sebastian Luke Gee, affectionately known as Sebas, Sebbies, or “The Tiny Legend” was born at Reston Hospital in Reston Virginia on January 10, 2011, to Sylvia Gonzalez Gee and Jon Gee. Sebastian was raised and educated in Ashburn, VA, where he lived all of his life. Sebastian attended Newton Lee for Elementary School. He had his best year in 2020-2021 excelling during home schooling and spreading his love to all his loved ones. He was a joy to students and teachers a like. He was like a comet, shining bright across the sky if only for a short while. Sebastian’s interests were airplanes, sports, the Pittsburgh Steelers (Ju-Ju Smith), Basketball (Steph Curry), Golf (Tiger and Daddy) his I-9 Basketball 3 consecutive Championship wins, LJGA Golf where he placed 3rd and tied for 1st place in his first two tournaments. Most importantly was his passion for fishing, where he caught everything from minnow to a shark. Sebastian at the age of ten was a world traveler. Curious to explore the globe, he appreciated all the “beautiful places” as he described them. Visiting 5 continents and a host of countries including Australia, Maldives, Singapore, Bali, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Italy, France, Dubai, Qatar, Canada, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Turks and Caicos, and El Salvador. Sebastian leaves to cherish his memories, his parents Jon Gee and Sylvia Gonzalez Gee, two sisters – Sofia Gee, Mia Gee; One brother – Drake Pearson, and a host of extended family members and very close friends from Pittsburgh, El Salvador, Washington DC, Maryland, and NorthernVirginia where he lived out his short life at Belmont Country Club in fellowship at Community Church in Ashburn, VA. The family takes great comfort in knowing that Sebastian’s absence from the body means being present with the Lord. Our beloved Sebastian completed his mission on earth and he is now free to rejoice with the angels in the kingdom of heaven.

What a blessing to have had Sebastian in my first grade class. I will always remember his big smile and huge bear hugs! He was a bright light that will shine always. My prayers go out to all of his family and friends during this difficult time. With love, Jennifer Koch
