Vincent (Sean, Dicky) William Dixon III, age 53, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at home. He was born December 23,1966 in Pittsburgh, PA to Vincent William Dixon II and Georganne (Berard) Dixon. Sean was a graduate of Watchung High School, NJ and attended East Carolina University. He married Peggy (Moylan) Dixon on July 1, 1995 in Merton, WI and has two sons, Tanner and Riley. Sean loved his wife and sons deeply. He took care of his grandmother and mother and welcomed all to his home with warmth and generosity. He was caring and smart, funny and dry witted. Sean had amazing skills and loved music and played the guitar. He knew life was not always easy and you don’t always get what you want or need ~ but those who loved him understood him and knew his heart was authentic. Sean is survived by his wife and sons, brother Adam Dixon and sister Andrea Iravani; aunts and uncles and many in-laws, nieces and nephews who all loved him and will deeply miss his warmth.

Family, friends and others,whose lives are touched by Sean, are invited to reminisce, grieve, support each other and share stories on this site.

I am not even sure how I stumbled upon this page, other than I was thinking of you. I often think of how much I regret losing touch over the years. And how much I miss your random calls or Facebook dms. I should have stayed in touch, I should have reached out more. I was also dealing with deamons. I am happy now Sean. I wish I could share that will you. I have a great career, a great husband, Nate and I have reconciled, and I am sober, sober for 3 years this December. I miss you my friend, I miss you deeply. You were such a fucking amazing human, and now a badass Angel. I will catch you on the other side.

Wow. This is sad to hear! I loved Sean. We had a lot of fun at ECU and after school I had a job in Chicago. We hang out and loved to listen to the Grateful Dead . Great guy!!! Will be missed sorry for your lose and peace and love to the family!!!
