Memorial

Mementos

Satnarayan aka Patrick aka Burry was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He devoted his entire life to his family. He did everything he could to make sure his family was happy and cared for. He put everyone's happiness before his own and never hesitated to help those who needed it. Everyone who knew him loved him for his sense of humor and infectious laugh. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him knew he was the life of the party. Always laughing and cracking jokes. No matter what he was going through he always managed to have a positive outlook and be in good spirits. There wasn't a person who met him whose life he didn't change in a special way. He always thought that he was the best cook out there and wasn't afraid to let everyone know it, but let's face it he probably was. Not a day goes by that we do not miss him but we smile because we were blessed to have known him and have been touched by his light and love. We are extremely fortunate to love and be loved by Satnarayan. There was no man more genuine than him. Now the sun shines a little brighter because someone we love and cherish is looking down on us everyday. We still live everyday in his ever lasting love and light. "Words seem so feeble in moments like these. Life is so precious and death such a thief. Love is a bond that death cannot part. Gone from our arms but still in our heart. "

Shawn, while I was unable to attend the memorial, reading through the posts just shows how much of an impact your dad made on you and so many others and it was wonderful to see a little more of the character of the man I only had the pleasure to meet once. I told you that he raised a good man, that is true, and he lives on in you. The picture is for you and your family to smile at.

In memory of our loving brother/brother in law/ uncle Burry. You gave no one a last farewell, nor even said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. If love alone could have saved you, you would have never died. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one else can fill. Love you dearly Burry.
