I could talk about Sara all day long. She was my best friend and coworker. She was the best person to work with. I’m 60 years old and have never had anyone work with me as well as she did. We had so much fun at work, she made it a fun atmosphere to be in. She was the kind of person that everyone wanted to be around. She brought out the best in people. She was funny, bright, and intelligent. She cared about people and always looked for the good in people. She’s one of those people that nobody would ever forget. I remember a few days before she passed away, we worked together and I inadvertently upset her, did not mean to at all; but it happened. I gave her space and a couple of hours later, we were in my car leaving and laughing like we always did. I told her, “Do you know who we are?” She looks at me confused. I said,”Do you remember the bugs bunny show?” She rolls her eyes and asked me if we were rabbits? I said,”No, silly. You remember the sheepdog and the coyote? You know, they were pals outside of work, but when they clocked in, they were rivals.” She got a kick out of the comparison. She wasn’t my rival though, she was my GIRL. I miss her more than ever. There is a big emptiness left with her gone. I never have missed any coworker like I have her. She made life interesting and work fun. She is missed every day. Until we meet again Sara FLY HIGH. You are beautiful, you are missed, you are loved!!!!
