Our hearts haven't adjusted to losing Henry yet and now to lose Sandy is almost unbelievable. We shared many vacations, family holiday meals most of our lives, traded books, exchanged recipes & pictures, letters & texts. She was a talented homemaker & an accomplished knitter. She sent all the family beautifully knitted afghans, hats, scarves, ponchos, rugs and her famous cotton dish cloths. She kept my mom who lived in Fairbanks, AK supplied with books, afghans, bed jackets, hats & dish cloths & anything else mom would enjoy such as cookies and cakes. Sandy was known in Scioto County in Ohio and in the Taos area as the lady that knitted the beautiful hats and bed jackets that she regularly donated to cancer patients. I catch myself picking up my phone still to text her to see what kind of day she is having and catch her up on the family & mutual friends news here in Florida , Alaska, & Texas , & Ohio.

I remember her as Sandy. She was about 14 years older than me, and I thought she was so beautiful. Minford people were so close back then. Comfort to her sons and family.

I have found memories of Sandra and Henry and sons having lived in Rosemount and being members at Valley UMC. Very sorry to learn of their deaths. Will keep your families in my prayers for comfort in the days ahead.
