Sandra Rose Spindler

Sandra Rose Spindler, 72, of Marietta, OH passed away on October 11, 2019 at her home in Marietta OH. Sandy was born October 18Th 1946 to Henry A. and Mary Jane Shull of Marietta, OH. Sandy was a 1964 graduate of Marietta High School. Sandy enjoyed many things in her life. She enjoyed traveling, reading, movies, playing games, and spending time with her family and friends. She got together every Tuesday morning with her “gal pals” where they would laugh, play games, and visit with each other. Once a month, Sandy would participate in a get together with the girls of her high school graduating class of 64 for dinner and fellowship. She also enjoyed going to her granddaughter Lily’s violin concerts and their many weekend sleepovers. Sandy loved her dogs Max and Shorty along with many others over her lifetime. Sandy had a great sense of humor and was very witty, which made her fun to be around. She enjoyed her many Facebook friends and the connections she made with them over the years. Her memory will live on, for the loving, caring, loyal, and beautiful person she was. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Henry A. and Mary Jane Shull of Marietta, OH, a brother Daniel Shull of Texas, her husband Harry Todd Spindler of Marietta OH in 1974, and her granddaughter Lindsay Ward of Portland, OH. Sandy is survived by her son Tim Spindler of Williamstown, WV, her daughter Heidi Winans (Michael) of Little Hocking, OH, her sister Sharon Corbitt (James) of Marietta, OH, a sister-in-law Donn Shull of Texas, her Grandchildren David Burns, Emily Crabtree (Michael) of Little Hocking, OH, and Lily Spindler of Williamstown, WV. Great grandchildren Sophia Ward of Portland, OH and Gavin Burns of Little Hocking OH. Nephews Travis Corbitt (Nancy), and Ben Corbitt (Kendra), Niece Keri Dunn and several cousins and extended family. Celebration of Life There will be a celebration of Sandra Spindler’s life on Saturday October 26th, 2019 at Christ Kindred Church. The service will begin receiving guests at 2:00 pm with Pastor Dick Poole sharing memories, poems, and happy memories starting at 3:30 and will conclude at 4:30 pm. If you knew Sandy and her sense of humor you would know she wouldn’t want anyone to be sad over her passing but to celebrate her life instead.
