Sam George, Jr

Sam George Jr, 88 passed away on Thursday September 19 2024 with his family by his side.  He was born on October 10, 1935 in Embudo, New Mexico to Sam Sr. and Elosia George. He was raised in Embudo and made his home in Santa Fe. He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine George. He is survived by his children, Ron (Sandi), Anthony (Darlene), Gerald (Kathy), Vicky Falance (David Sr.) his grandchildren Gayle Madrid (Anthony), David Jr. Samantha, Jeffrey (Maria), Patrick (Erika) and his great grandchildren Joshua Falance and Charlie Falance, and several nieces and nephews. Dad was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He loved his family and was very kind, generous, compassionate, and loving to all who were in his life. Dad was a plumbing contractor in the Espanola Valley and spent his career helping the community there.  Dad worked hard to ensure his family was well cared for. Our dad was a mentor and a role model to his family as he taught us the value of loving your family and helping all who were in need or asked for help. He was a devoted husband as he cared for his wife in her time of need and throughout her life. Dad never said no to anyone who asked for his help. He will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew him. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM on October 2nd at Santa Maria Del La Paz Catholic Church and the funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 October 3rd also at Santa Maria De la Paz with interment service to held on October 4th at 9:00 am at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
