Ryan Lee (Sky) King

Ryan Lee (Sky) King, 78, of Parkersburg, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 18, 2021. He was born September 9, 1942, in Morgantown, WV. The son of the late Henry W. King and Sarah Grattes (Gordy) King. He was a 4 year Navy Veteran and spent 20 years in the Navy Reserves. He was a member of the Mt. Olivet Masonic Lodge No. 3 of Parkersburg, WV and an active member in the Shriner’s of Parkersburg. He enjoyed his time spent as a Road Runner and a clown in the Clown Unit. He retired from Dupont in 2003 after 35 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 18 years Sylvia King of Parkersburg; sister Mardeen Rogers of Irwin, PA; brother Jeffrey King of Akron, OH. Children: Tabitha Lynch; Walter King and Scarlett King. Grandchildren Breanna; Cullen; Violett; Casey and Crimson. Step children Cindy Collins; Rock Walker; Carol Ewing and Nikki Walker. Grandchildren Josh; Marsha; Roger and Brandon and several great grandchildren. There will be no service. At his wish he will be cremated and sent to sea with his beloved best friend and companion pet of 21 years Miss Sara. Courtesy of the United States Military.
