Ruth Ann Walker

Ruth Ann Walker, 52, of Denver, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on May 7, 2022, from a massive heart attack. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jack Walker.

 

Born on April 12, 1970, Ruth devoted her life to caring for others. As a compassionate and skilled nurse at Denver Health Medical Center, the largest hospital in Denver, she brought comfort, hope, and healing to countless patients and families. Her colleagues admired her dedication, empathy, and unwavering professionalism, and many found in her a trusted friend and confidante.

 

Ruth’s life was marked by kindness, strength, and grace. She had a gentle and generous spirit, always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear. Her laughter brightened every room, her smile lifted every heart, and her presence brought warmth and calm to those around her.

 

Beyond her career, Ruth cherished her life with her husband, Jack, sharing quiet walks, laughter, and meaningful conversations. She found joy in music, reading, nature, and the simple moments of everyday life. Those who knew her remember Ruth as thoughtful, loving, and endlessly devoted to the people she cherished.

 

Though her passing was sudden, Ruth’s love and light continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, devotion, and inspiration—a reminder to treasure every moment and live with purpose and kindness.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association in Ruth’s memory, honoring her life and her lifelong commitment to caring for others.
