I had only recently had the pleasure of meeting Ruth when her son, my friend Neil, was in Sun Lakes visiting his mom. We talked and laughed together for quite a long time and she was just such a pleasure to be around. Such a happy, positive and wonderful woman. She will be missed.

Ruth was an amazing women. I remember our first massage session. I had just started at the chiro office she went to, and everyone at the office kept saying how wonderful she was and that I would really like her. It was a week away of meeting her but I was excited. Who was this lady that everyone gushed about? I finally got to meet her and immediately understood. She had a grace and warmth that came from her without her having to say anything. From that one massage session came to be a friendship of almost 10 years. I came to know that there was many facets of her. There was the warm and sweet side, the bright and silly side, the stern side, the firecracker side, and on and on. For example I will never forget the day during a massage session and we were just chatting away, and I forget what we were talking about, but she says " and you know Rosie I told him to f$%& off." I literally stopped in my tracks and then we burst out laughing. I will miss our conversations and the time we spent together but I am eternally grateful to have met and had the privilege of becoming part of her life.
