Rupert Chen

Rupert Chen, a proud husband, beloved father, cherished grandfather, and resilient immigrant from Hong Kong, passed away peacefully on 3/17/24, leaving behind a legacy of love, courage, and determination. He was 82.

Born in 1942 in the streets of Hong Kong, Rupert's journey was one of perseverance and fortitude. Amidst the chaos of the city, he learned the value of hard work and resilience from a young age. With dreams of providing a better future for his family, Rupert embarked on a courageous journey, leaving behind the familiarity of his homeland to seek new opportunities in a foreign land.

Arriving in the United States, Rupert faced numerous challenges as an immigrant. However, armed with determination and a working spirit, he navigated through the trials and tribulations, carving a path of success for himself and his loved ones. Through his dedication and perseverance, he not only achieved his own dreams but became an inspiration to those around him.

Rupert's greatest joy in life was his family. As a devoted father, he worked tirelessly to provide a stable and loving home for his children, instilling in them the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion. His kindness knew no bounds, and his wisdom served as a guiding light for his family through life's trials and triumphs.

In his role as a grandfather, Rupert found boundless joy and fulfillment. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, imparting upon them his love, wisdom, and gentle humor. Whether sharing stories of his homeland or offering sage advice, he left an indelible mark on the hearts of his grandchildren, who will forever treasure his memory.

Rupert's legacy of resilience, kindness, and love will continue to live on through his family and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever remain as a beacon of hope and inspiration.

At this point we are still grieving the loss of Rupert, and have yet to decide on an accordily place to lay him to rest.

Rupert Chen will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace, his spirit forever soaring high in the hearts of those who loved him.
