C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous vous informons du décès de Mme Roselor St-Vil Torchon, veuve du Frère Octave Torchon . Elle nous a quittés le 7 mai 2024 à l’âge de 75 ans. Les funérailles auront lieu le vendredi 17 Mai 2024 à 8h00 AM en l’Eglise Méthodiste de Frères où la dépouille sera exposée dès 7h00AM.
La veillée funèbre se fera exclusivement en ligne.

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Roselor St-Vil Torchon, widow of Brother Octave Torchon. She passed away on May 7, 2024 at the age of 75. The funeral will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 8:00 AM at the Methodist Church in Freres where the remains will lie in state at 7:00 AM. (GMT+4, US, Canada, Haiti time)
The wake will be held exclusively online.

Toutes les merveilles que Dieu a faites nous fascinent.Elles sont trop nombreuses pour qu'on puisse les compter.Néanmoins ,quand nous prenons le temps de scruter notre environnement, nous finissons par comprendre que certaines gens sont des merveilles exceptionnelles. Mme.Roselor S.Torchon est une de ces merveilles qui ont marqué mon existence.Femme simple,respectueuse,hospitalière, attentionnée généreuse,battante...,elle n'a cessé de me materner.Je garde ces phrases d'elle : Vanounou,pitit fi m ,kouman w ye menm ? Kouman Esaïe ye ? Mwen bezwen w ,pase wè lakay ,mwen kite yon bagay pou ou.Je n'oublierai jamais la fameuse chanson " Travaillons Tous pour le Maître " qu'elle m'a apprise.Enfin ,j'ai perdu une maman spéciale qui m'a nourrie spirituellement, intellectuellement et physiquement.Je l'aimais tellement !!! Que son âme repose en paix dans les bras du Seigneur ! Mes sympathies à ses enfants biologiques et adoptifs ,ses amis,ses connaissances,ses élèves,tous les membres de sa famille et la grande famille Méthodiste !

May the L-rd receive your mom in His arms and drive her in the Eternal rest after. She has fought the good fight, abe has finished the race, she has kept the faith. From now on, there is reserved for her the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give her on that day as clearly said in 2 Timothy 4: 7, 8a,b. May she rest in peace after this long journey on earth. Condolences in my family's name.
