Rose (Fall) Padgett

Rose Elizabeth Padgett, also known as Fall, departed this life on May 11, 2022, at the age of 31. She earned a B.A. from the University of Oregon, became fluent in Japanese, and worked tirelessly as an independent translator. She loved manga and esoteric games with a passion that few could understand (and perhaps none could match).

Rose was a fierce debater, a kind friend, a brilliant introvert, and a singularly unique human being. Her compassion inspired us, and her intelligence humbled us.

She will be missed by many, including her sisters, her mother, Romaine Padgett, and her friends both in Lane County, Oregon and around the world.
