Our beloved Rodolfo Battistozzi was born in Mendoza, Argentina September 18th 1945 and ended his journey here on earth March 27th 2020 at 6:20pm. Rodolfo lived in Orlando, Florida with his wife Ester Virginia and nearby his daughters Ana Paula, Joana and Sofia. Son of Isolina Bolognesi & Domingo Battistozzi, brother to Estela Battistozzi, Ana María Battistozzi and Carlos Ernesto Battistozzi all lived in Argentina. Those who new him called him "el gordo" a nickname that the family used as a form of love for him. He began his studies with a bachelors in electrical engineering from Mazza University earning a gold medal for highest achievement. Everyone that knew Rodolfo could see his love for the sport of tennis as he played singles and doubles in the 60s and 70s. He did specially well and had some great times alongside his good friend Carlos Bistue as they played doubles and were known to be the best of Mendoza and some interior regions of Argentina. They became well known as they won many tournaments in the region and went on to be one of the creators of the "Torneo Crepuscular" Rodolfo went on to work For Lyon the main hydroelectric plant in France, he then returned to Argentina and worked in Mendoza for SADE, "Sociedad Anónima de Electricidad". In 1975 he moved to Rio De Janeiro Brazil as he was offered a position with "Natron". In Rio de Janeiro he met his wife Ester Virginia Villalon. In Rio de Janeiro he discovered the joy of fatherhood as he become a father of 3. 1996 Rodolfo and his family traveled to the United States with hopes of a better future for his family. Rodolfo is always remembered by his family for his light energy and loving personality. He loved to joke around with his family while always eating a snack. When the girls were young he would always pretend there were bonbons in Sofia's ears and she would be so fascinated with his magic skills. She remember s him always calm even when he had to spend hours teaching her the same math problem over and over again. He always said she was "uma menina muito especial". His daughter Ana also remembers him as a very patient father that always took her to museums & theatres when she was young. She always noticed that he had a gift of not carrying at all about what people said or thought about him. He was the most selfless human being we have encountered on this earth. Never needing anything of monetary value showing us what he truly valued was peace, serenity and some downtime with his girls at home. His daughter Joana remembers their one on one tennis lessons growing up as Joana found a new interest to her fathers pass time game of tennis. He used to sing her a song "juji, jujita menina tão bonita" that she recognized him singing every time he was near her. Rodolfo is going to be missed by all of us. Until we meet again.
