Robin Ghosh
August 5th, 1955 - March 3rd, 2023
August 5th, 1955 - March 3rd, 2023
When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little – but not for long. And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that once we shared. Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we must all take, And each must go alone. It’s all part of the master plan, A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, Go to the friends we know, Laugh at all the things we used to do. Miss me, but let me go.
It is with deep sadness that we announce Robin Ghosh (67), Toronto, Ontario, passed away on March 3, 2023 surrounded by his wife and children.
Robin was born to Jotish and Vera Ghosh on August 5, 1955 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He was a loving husband, son, brother, father and grandfather.
Robin is survived by his wife Lynn, mother Vera, children Fiona (Jamie) and Clinton (Amy), grandchildren Fisher and Samara, who he shared with his former wife Dolly, and his furbaby Sunny.
He also leaves behind his stepdaughter Michelle (Shawn), step grandchildren Sierra, Fintan, Tyler, Iain, and Jessica, as well as his sister Delilah, his niece Stephanie and nephews Clayton, Kamron and Neil.
Robin was predeceased by his father, Jotish and sister Roma.
Robin enjoyed hosting and cooking for his family and friends and those moments will be remembered with joy.
In his final weeks, despite being in hospital, he never lost his sense of humour. Throughout his entire journey, he cracked jokes with Lynn, Fiona and Clinton, fought to smile at Fisher and Samara, and even joked with the nurses.
He will be so dearly missed.
Robin’s family will host a Celebration of Life service on April 16, 2023. Please RSVP by April 6, 2023 https://www.mykeeper.com/event/robin-ghosh-celebration-of-life/
