I will remember Bob's kind heart and giving spirit. He could disarm a negative moment by his humor, kindness, understanding and laughter. He was always a joy to be around. I will miss him.

Bob was a wonderful step father and grandfather (Grampy) to my two children Summer and Morgan. His up for anything spirit was always appreciated. He loved God, his country and his family more than anything. He led a thankful life with an amazing attitude about aging. I have learned a lot from him and will miss him terribly. We love you Bob.

My father was a good man. One of the most positive people I have ever known. When things got tough he would always say " yea, but nothing we can't handle." And he handled things well to the very end. I will always miss him.

Bob was a very lovely man that always treat me very nicely as being his daughter in law. One of the things that I remember from him and will never forget is that when Dave and I went to visit him and Marva 1 or 2 years, I don't remember exactly, before his 90 Th. celebration in Palm Beach, Fl. the last day that we were going to be there, we went to have breakfast to a restaurant and when we finished eating and we were saying goodbye to each other, as we were going to go back to Lafayette, he took my hand and said to me -"Thanks for having been so nice to my son, we loved you" and then he kiss my hand with a love that came out from his heart. I was astonished and then I hugged him dearly. I will never forget that. Thanks dad for being the great man that I always saw in you. May the Lord give you rest and peace in His Kingdom and someday Dave and I will be meeting with you again in Haven. With love and affection Leticia VerHage
