It has been a privilege to have known Bob since his visit to England in 1987. We exchanged many communications since and he was always so generous in the giving of his time and sharing his memories. On those rare occasions in life someone comes along that is very special and Colonel Robert E Vickers jr was one of those people. Rest in peace Bob, and God bless you.
