Buckley lived and enjoyed life to the fullest in every way. He had a great appetite for life's abundant offerings. His laugh was larger than life and highly contagious. His mission was to make the lives of others better. His child like innocent love of God was beautiful to behold - faithfully and with great joy, hitting his knees everyday in prayer. Buckley will be greatly missed. He was a cherished husband, father, brother, son, uncle, mentor and friend. He touched many lives in profound ways and his absence leaves behind a vast void. Thank you for loving this beautiful, hopeful, faithful, supportive and hilarious soul! May he live on in our hearts and memories forever. Please help keep his memories alive by sharing your photos and stories here.

Smitty & I are Lana & Buckley's neighbors in Apple Valley. We've had many fun times together from BBQ'ing at each others homes, to attending church together, to house sitting each other's homes. We loved this guy! He always greeted us with a huge hello & big smile!! You will be missed, Buckley.

Buckley was a pool pal this past summer. Just a few short weeks ago 😢 Will miss his wonderful comments at meetings; he always ended with "drop the rock".

There are so many memories that always make me smile. Our Laughlin trips where Buckley loved the "One-Armed Bandits" and he always said "you have to be positive or you won't win!" Lana and Buckley's trips to visit us in Oxnard always included a trip (or two!) to Spudnuts where Buckley bought his favorites... Donut holes filled with raspberry jelly and covered in powdered sugar. Buckley always wore the evidence on his face and shirt and would say "who me? What donuts??" We ALWAYS laughed. Buckley was the consummate story teller. We heard about his younger wilder days growing up and how he managed to escape with his life. I can't think about Buckley without smiling and will miss his love and friendship so, so much. He was Stuart's buddy and Stuart will miss his Sunday "keep in touch" phone calls. RIP our dear Buckley. Wish I could hear you laugh again.
