Rob loved cooking, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren who he loved immensely. His crawfish belly stew was a fan favorite in the kitchen. On Sundays during football season, he loved watching and cheering on his Chicago Bears. “DA BEARS” as he would say.  His laugh was infectious, he loved to dance, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need. He was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

My hero!! I’ll forever be grateful for the love and support you gave me as a stepdad. I have so many wonderful memories because of you! One that I’ll always treasure is when you took me to New Orleans to see Wheel of Fortune. On our way home I told you that I wanted to dedicate the Brad Paisley song to you, “He Didn’t Have to Be”. I’ll never forget how much that touched you and I was just genuinely honest about what you meant to me. You’ll always mean SO MUCH to me. I love you, Rob!!

Only my dad could convince me to go on a 24 HOUR offshore fishing trip! It was an experience that I will never forget. We caught a ton of big fish & got to see the most beautiful sunrise & sunset.

Santa at our wedding?? EPIC!! When we decided to have a winter wedding, I just HAD to surprise our guests with Santa Claus. My dad was so excited to do this for me. He knew how much I loved Christmas so he was on board with the idea the second I pitched it to him. After Santa handed out his candy canes and jingle bells, we hit the dance floor. I sure do wish I could have one last dance with my favorite Santa Claus ❤️ I will cherish these memories forever.

I wish there was much more I could share today, but I know there will still be new memories to share as time goes on. Dad and I spent a lot of time together fishing and working! We’d often tease one another on who the better cook was! I may not be able to draw, but am an artist in the kitchen! Dad taught to be a hard worker and to never be afraid of a challenge.
