Ricky "Rick" Lee Provence

Ricky Lee Provence "Rick" of Amity, Ar. passed away on December 28, 2023 at the age of 64. He was born on July 13, 1959 in Denver Colorado to Fredrick Nathanial Provence "Bill" "Fred", Iona Lee Provence (Greenlee) (Provence). He had a step-mother Vera Dorthea (Koons). He was married to Dorothy Sue Provence (Wilson).

 

Rick loved the outdoors, especially fishing, spending time with family and friends, and going to church. He also like to sing.

 

Ricky was preceded in death by both parents; his step-mother; his brother Kenneth Ray Provence "Kenny" "Ken"; and his sister Fredda Sue Provence "Susie".

 

He is survived by two sons, Ricky Ray Provence and wife Shelia Provence (Barkman) of Amity, Ar. and Randall Provence of Murfreesboro, Ar.; two daughters Christina Sipes and husband Kory of Post, Tx., and Sheila Morris and husband Edmund "Ray"  of Seagraves, Tx.; thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous half and step-brothers and step-sisters, nieces, and nephews.

 

The family will be holding a memorial service at Genesis Community Church in Amity at 2:00 PM on January 4, 2024, with Pastor Dave Tunnell officiating.

 

* Rick was cremated and buried with his father Fredrick.
